`If China refuses to withdraw the missiles it has targeted at Taiwan and to openly renounce the use of force against us, would you agree that the government should acquire more advanced anti-missile weapons to strengthen Taiwan's self-defense capabilities?'
and the second question is,
`Would you agree that our government should engage in negotiations with China about the establishment of a "peace and stability" framework for cross-strait interactions in order to build consensus and for the welfare of the peoples on both sides?'
Percentages of votes received on the poll date determine the liquidation values. For example, if 90% of the votes are for question 1 and 80% are cast for question 2, the average percentage is (90%+80%)/2 = 85% and 85 dollars is the liquidation value of a share of voteYes. Note that voteNo also includes invalid ballots. The price of a referendum04 bundle is (fictitious NT$) 100.

TAIPEI, Dec. 14, 2003 -- In parallel to futures products, we introduce a line of options products. The holder of a call option on Chen-Lu's price receives a payoff if the price of a Chen-Lu exceeds that of the strike price of the call on maturity. On the other hand, he or she receives nothing if the price of a Chen-Lu is below the strike on maturity. For details of options on Chen-Lu's price and how to price/trade them, please refer to FAQ on Options.

TAIPEI, Dec. 14, 2003 -- In order for a user to trade both futures and options with a single account, we upgraded the server. As a result, old accounts are no longer in proper use. We therefore are closing the old accounts soon. If you find you can no longer log in with your previous login name, please register a new one instead. This affects only few people. We apologize for any inconvenience.

TAIPEI, Dec. 14, 2003 -- We liquidated Chen-Su, Chen-Tsai, Chen-Yu, and Chen-Other with a liquidation value of zero since Chen Shui-bian has chosen Ms. Annette Lu as his running mate for the 2004 election. The presidential bundle now consists of the following three futures contracts.

TAIPEI, Nov. 3, 2003 -- In an effort to encourage participation, we have allocated funds for those who achieve high returns in the trading. The 1st to the 4th place winner gets a reward of 5,000, 4,000, 3,000, and 2,000 NT dollars, respectively. The 5th to the 10th place winner each receives 1,000. The deadline for registration is March 6, 2004. The contest rule is as follows. Type in a maximum deposit of 3,200 when registering (this is the only chance of adding funds to your account). Trading then starts. The total number of transactions is unlimited. Note, however, that before your last order is completed, you are blocked off further transactions. This implementation prevents your account from running into a deficit. To claim your reward, please fax, by March 27, 2004, a copy of your account summary with your login name and contact address. We will order the net gains in the summaries and contact the top 10 winners. For latest information, please refresh this page often.
